About Me

Mia EvansMy name is Mia Evans. I have a Bsc degree from Bristol University and a PGCE from Roehampton Institute.

I have sixteen years experience as a primary school teacher, most recently teaching Reception class. I have specialist knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, giving me in depth understanding of the stages of learning and development of 0 to 5 year olds.

I have been an early years practitioner providing learning and care for children ages 6 months to 5yrs.

I created the Messy Mice Play & Learn Club because I am passionate about providing opportunities for children to learn through play. I believe in making learning fun for little ones, developing their confidence and encouraging creative thinking. In my years of experience, I have learnt how important it is to encourage pre-school age children to be active learners and creative thinkers. This gives them confidence and a strong foundation for their school career.

I love to create ideas and activities to inspire their enthusiasm and motivation to learn and explore.
